Who Am I?
I’m a warm, compassionate, and down to earth therapist who believes therapy should feel like a safe place to be heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals. With couples, I use the Gottman Method to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and develop a healthier and more fulfilling relationship. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offer support and perspective, and help you discover the tools and strengths you already have.
What is a first session like with me?
Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other and begin talking about what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore what you’re experiencing, what you would like to be different, and what you hope to get from our work together. You don't need to have everything figured out, and you don't have to share everything all at once. My priority is creating a comfortable environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.
What can you expect going forward in therapy?
Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you make meaningful changes in your life and relationships. We’ll work together to better understand what is happening, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical tools that fit your life. Whether I’m working with an individual, teen, couple, or family, I want therapy to be a place where you feel safe to grow, have honest conversations, and move toward the life and relationships you want. You don't have to navigate it all alone. I’m here to walk alongside you.
